Cambridge JUKU
We offer a range of courses for Elementary, Junior High, and High School students. The subjects we cater towards in particular are: English, Japanese, and Mathematics, which in the case of Mathematics can also be studied in both Japanese and English. These courses can be studied both in small group and one on one with the teacher.
Every age group has its own characteristics. In our initial course offerings students require more and longer input to show production. The acquisition of knowledge is achieved using a communicative approach which focuses on key content in the curriculum using authentic materials. Subsequently, as the course progresses, we expand the skill set and further foster independent thinking to deepen understanding and cognitive skills. The textbooks, e-learning books, and other learning materials that Cambridge Juku uses, as well as the teacher prepared tasks, provide students with a rich source of knowledge that deepen their understanding as well as develop the processes required for problem-solving and critical thinking.
In addition, we provide content consistent with passing entrance exams, Eiken, National, and Cambridge exams, as well as help in subject matter pertinent to the individual student needs. We concentrate on designing a curriculum to suit the needs of the student as well as to help academic performance through the development of good study habits.
